How Emirates used AI to transform volume hiring

Emirates Airlines is a global employer of choice and the largest airline in the Middle East. Within their volume customer service hiring they need to hire 500 – 1000 per month and manage hundreds of thousands of applications. They identified HireVue’s AI-scored Video Interview and Games Based Assessments as the solutions to assess large volumes of candidates based on the skills and motivations that are proven to predict job success. It also gave them a consistent global process that was candidate-centric and which allowed them to open up the top of the funnel even further. 

Emirates was able to reduce time to hire from 60 days down to 7 days and re-allocate two-thirds of the recruitment team to more strategic initiatives. They also saved 8000 hours of recruiter and hiring manager time and made a cost saving of $500k. Candidates also found the new process engaging and enjoyable, which is demonstrated by a CSAT score of 93%.
